Provo - VITALSMARTS released Change Anything Training, its newest training course designed for organizations that are tired of yielding little-to-no change in employee behavior despite substantial investments in performance management. Change Anything Training teaches individuals stuck in life- and career-limiting habits a proven method for driving rapid and sustainable behavior change.

Orem - ARIBEX, INC. invested in H2O TECH, INC. to develop breakthrough dental technology. This is the first time Aribex has invested in an outside company. Aribex will have a seat on H2O TECH’s board of directors.
Aribex, Inc. also qualified for up to $350,000 in financial incentives from the state of Utah for expansion of its manufacturing capacity. Aribex will receive the incentive in the form of tax credits that are contingent upon the company hiring 30 more employees in the next three years. The incentives were authorized under the new Technology and Life Sciences Economic Development Act.

Provo - NU SKIN ENTERPRISES, INC. launched its new ageLOC anti-aging products: the ageLOC Galvanic Body Spa, an advanced skin treatment system that is paired with the new ageLOC Body Shaping Gel and ageLOC Dermatic Effects Body Contouring Lotion; and ageLOC R2, a nutritional supplement system designed to renew and recharge the body.

Orem - COMMERCE REAL ESTATE SOLUTIONS signed CLEARLINK and ANCESTRY.COM to multi-year leases. Together, the companies occupy 54,000 square feet of the Canyon River Office Park’s Center I Building located at 727 N. 1550 East in Orem.

Lehi - LINGOTEK opened a new office in Lehi. This location will serve as the company’s new headquarters, placing it at the heart of a growing technology hub with notable technology giants Microsoft and Adobe as neighbors.

Provo - ANCESTRY.COM released Family Tree Maker for Mac 2, which includes TreeSync. The new software comes with a free membership or free trial to that gives users access to over 6 billion U.S. historical records, and millions of memory-making historical photos, stories and family trees.

Provo - MYHERITAGE.COM released Family Tree Builder 6.0, a comprehensive free software for family history fans. With the addition of automatic research in historical records and new features for presenting family memories, Family Tree Builder 6.0 will enable customers to access historical content for the first time and view their family history in several innovative new ways.

Provo - VIVINT launched a new mobile app that offers customers the ability to control their security, energy management and smart home features from their mobile devices. The new app is supported by iPhone, BlackBerry and Google Android devices.

American Fork - The City of Hartford, Conn. Implemented the BIDSYNC eProcure and Builder bid management system for all of its electronic sourcing needs. Tailored to help government entities meet their procurement needs, BidSync eProcure is a web-based system that helps track and manage every last detail for all types of electronic bidding.



Logan - DIGNIFIED LIVING, a new personal care agency, opened in Cache Valley. Dignified Living provides in-home personal care to seniors citizens who are in need of help with daily tasks required for living a healthy life, such as bathing, washing clothes and preparing meals.

Riverdale - AMERICA FIRST CREDIT UNION distributed more than $19,000 through its community assistance program (CAP) in 2011 to seven organizations that help the homeless and less fortunate. America First initiated its community assistance program in 1989. Every penny collected through CAP boxes at branches and other means is dedicated to the program.

Farmington - THOMASARTS was recognized by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area (RMHC) as its 2011 Corporate Partner of the Year. ThomasARTS developed RMHC of the Intermountain Area’s new website,, produces radio and television spots in both English and Spanish, and creates print advertisements for the charity.

Logan - DUO GROUP launched PROMOLAB, a new division devoted to creating fresh, unique, high-quality promotional items. The new division will work hand-in-hand with DUO’s other creative divisions, which include marketing, design and web services.

Layton - DAVIS HOSPITAL AND MEDICAL CENTER collected more than 7,700 pounds of food during a month-long food drive. The food was donated to the Family Connection Center Food Bank in Layton, which will distribute it to low-income families and individuals in need of emergency food assistance.
