Goldenwest Breaks Ground for Office in Bountiful

Goldenwest Credit Union held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new office in Bountiful. Scheduled to open in July, the full-service branch will be located at 2085 Orchard Drive.

“Last August we opened a branch inside the Dick’s Market on Parrish Lane in Centerville, and have received a tremendous response from our members since that time,” said Kerry H. Wahlen, Goldenwest President/CEO.

Goldenwest purchased the lot on Orchard Drive several years ago with plans to build a branch in the future. The southeast Bountiful site will become the home of the 21st office in its branch network.

Construction for the 4,000 square foot office will begin next week. The full-service branch will include mortgage and loan offices, five teller stations, safe deposit boxes, four drive-thru lanes and a 24-hour drive-up Co-op Network ATM. The branch will also serve members of other credit unions as part of the Credit Union Service Center shared branch network.

Goldenwest has partnered with Utah-based companies on the project, including Wadman Corporation, Architectural Nexus and ROI Engineering.
