Larry H. Miller Group of Companies Forms New Divisions

Greg Miller, chief executive officer of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies announced the formation of three new divisions: Miller Management Corporation, Miller Sports Properties and Miller Retail Properties.  Miller Management Corporation is located at Jordan Commons in Sandy, Utah, the company’s corporate headquarters.  Miller Sports Properties is located at EnergySolutions Arena in downtown Salt Lake City and Miller Retail Properties is based in South Salt Lake City.

“As a result of the rapid growth and success of the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies, I have been working to more appropriately structure our organization to be positioned for growth in the future,” said Miller.

Miller Management Corporation includes the core functional areas of corporate governance, strategy, government relations, acquisitions, expansions, startups and divestitures.  Financial operations encompass treasury, finance, accounting, reporting, analytics, internal and external auditing, taxes and payroll.  Legal and compliance, risk management, human resources are also a part of Miller Management Corporation.  Rounding out the group is the coordination of corporate communications, IT, marketing and corporate events.

“These changes will create more consistency in our overall organizational structure,” said Miller.

The properties collectively known as Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment are now two separate areas of operation. This change was made to better prepare the Larry H. Miller Group for new opportunities and also allow for professional advancement for employees excelling in their respective areas.
