Salt Lake City — Two attorneys have partnered to form York Howell LLC. The firm is led by David R. York and Andrew L. Howell, both previously with Callister Nebeker & McCullough.
The new firm has opened an office at 6405 South 3000 East, Suite 150 in Salt Lake City.
The boutique law firm will focus on tax and estate planning, asset protection, business structuring and succession development. The principals are licensed to practice in Utah, Texas, Arizona, Idaho, Wyoming, Alaska and New York.
“We recognize that we live in a complex world and people need professionals who concentrate in specific law disciplines,” said David R. York, principal of York Howell. “We offer cutting edge legal services for an ever-changing landscape.”
David R. York, a Utah native, graduated from the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and earned his bachelor of science from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. York has represented clients in estate planning, tax, business planning and non-profit entities.
Andrew L. Howell, a Utah native, graduated from the S. J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Utah. Howell represents clients with respect to estate planning, probate and estate administration, business and tax planning matters. Howell previously practiced with Lewis, Hansen, Waldo and Pleshe and Durham, Jones & Pinegar.
