Salt Lake City—Mercato Partners, a leading lower-middle market growth equity firm, today announced the promotion of Alison Wistner to Managing Director.  Wistner, who has been with Mercato Partners since 2010, most recently as a Director and investment committee member, assumes the new role immediately.  She currently serves on the board of a number of Mercato portfolio companies, including Altitude Digital, Alliance Health, Central Logic, Untangle, and Venafi.  Prior to Mercato Partners, Alison was a Principal at Prospector Equity Capital, a private equity firm based in Park City, Utah.  She has received honors as a Top 40 under Forty winner by Utah Business Magazine and was a recipient of the Trailblazer Award from the Women Tech Council. Alison serves as a board advisor to the Women Tech Council and a board member of the Rocky Mountain Venture Capital Association.  Alison is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a B.S. in Business Finance.

Silicon Slopes—Global SaaS Partner Relationship Management (PRM) leader Impartner announced this week it has appointed Brad Pace as vice president of customer success.  Pace is accountable for ensuring Impartner customers quickly benefit from Impartner’s PRM solutions, which are critical to helping companies sell through indirect channels. These solutions transform the customer experience companies deliver to their partner networks and accelerate their indirect sales by as much as 91 percent.  Before joining Impartner, Pace held a number of executive sales operations, customer service and analytics roles at EMC that were focused on optimizing customer experience and performance.  Pace’s hire comes just 11 months since Wang and Kennet Partners acquired what was TreeHouse Interactive.  Since the acquisition, the company has undergone a number of rapid transformations, including building out the executive team; more than doubling the company’s overall staff; moving the corporation to new offices; expanding into Latin America and Europe; rebranding the corporation with a contemporary look and feel; and launching a continual string of innovations that include a reengineering of the company’s core product in a way that makes it more easily adoptable by a broader spectrum of corporations.

Salt Lake City—Newmark Grubb ACRES is pleased to announce Senior Vice President Todd McLachlan has joined their growing office division. McLachlan has over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry and began his career back in 2002 as a property manager. Since then McLachlan has flourished on the brokerage side of the industry and through his extensive work representing notable Wasatch Front clients, he is regarded as an expert in his designated field. Prior to joining Newmak Grubb ACRES McLachlan was Director of the Office and Investment divisions at Cushman and Wakefield. Throughout his career McLachlan has represented companies such as Gartner, Security National Mortgage Company, Professional Education Institute, Exeter Finance Corporation, Altius Health Care, Franklin Covey and DevMountain. Working hard to provide the best possible service for both landlords/sellers and tenants/buyers, McLachlan has been involved in an impressive $340 million in transaction volume throughout the past 13 years.

Salt Lake City— The Board of Directors of TraskBritt is pleased to announce Shareholder Gregory C. Baker as an Officer and Director of the firm. Baker holds a Masters and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering as well as a Juris Doctor from the University of Utah. His practice emphasizes counseling and strategic planning, U.S. and international patent, design, trademark and copyright matters and related opinions, transactions and licensing. He is a member of the Utah State Bar and a patent attorney registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  TraskBritt also announced the election of H.
