Keystone Aviation promoted KIMBERLY PAGE to chief operating officer. Page was
previously the company’s CFO.

AlphaGraphics promoted DAVE BUZZA to chief development officer. Buzza has been with AlphaGraphics since 2008, most recently as vice president of global development.

The Governor’s Office of Economic Development hired BRAD PETERSEN as director of the new Office of Outdoor Recreation. He was previously COO and general manager of Combined Resources International L.P.

Brighton Bank named NICOLE LANE operations officer. Lane has been employed with Brighton Bank since 2009 and now works in the operational area and compliance auditing.

Peterson Partners appointed NICK JEAN-BAPTISTE, former vice president at Macquarie Capital (USA) Inc., as vice president on its investment team.

The Salt Lake Chamber named TERRY BUCKNER vice chairman. After serving for one year in this capacity, Buckner will become the chairman in July 2014. Buckner previously served the chamber as chair of the membership committee.

Allegiance appointed MIKE BREADY as vice president of customer success. Prior to joining Allegiance, Bready was vice president of inside sales for The Attachmate Group.

STEVEN P. SHURTZ, managing partner of the Utah office of Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione, became chairman of the intellectual property section of the Utah State Bar Association.

Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. named BRANDI HUME vice president of quality assurance and JAMES SLAGOWSKI senior vice president of compliance systems management.

Vivint hired TODD THOMPSON as chief information officer. Thompson was previously CIO for JetBlue Airways and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Brigham Young University appointed LEE PERRY as the dean of the Marriott School of Management. Perry had been associate dean of the Marriott School since 2012.

BRETT BLAKE joined Jewel Kade as CEO, beginning mid-July. He most recently led the direct sales division of Los Angeles-based Beachbody.

Peak Capital Partners hired JOHN BILLINGS as vice president. Billings helped form Lyme Properties 2, a regional development company.

JAN WILKING received the Myles Rademan Spirit of Hospitality Award from the Park City Chamber Bureau.

Skullcandy promoted DENNY BRUCE to head of domestic sales. Bruce joined Skullcandy in 2010 as a sales manager and director of specialty sales.

JIM SHEA, JR. was appointed a board member on Basin Recreation’s administrative control board. Shea was the U.S. Olympic skeleton gold medalist during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.

MATTHEW DIAS was named assistant city manager of Park City. He was previously the director of traffic and parking in Somerville, Mass., and has worked as a financial analyst in the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Southern Utah University provost BRADLEY COOK and professor of political science MICHAEL STATHIS won the 2013 Emerald Literati Network Award for Excellence for their research on democracy and Islam. 

Dixie State University promoted BECKY A. SMITH as its new dean of academic and community outreach. Smith has worked at DSU for more than 30 years as a faculty member and an administrator.
