Park City—The top executives at Supplemental Health Care, an industry leading healthcare workforce solutions company, and its subsidiary Clinical Magnet, the only exclusive healthcare recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) provider in the U.S., have been named 2015 HRO Today Magazine Superstars for demonstrating forward thinking and transformative actions in the field of human resources.
Janet Elkin, president and CEO of Supplemental Health Care, was recognized for spearheading her company's growth by introducing new workforce and staffing solutions for the healthcare industry including recruitment processing outsourcing, Supplemental Physicians and Advance Practice divisions. She has been praised by her employees for her hands-on leadership style and business acumen. Janet is a respected, dynamic leader in the industry and has provided new perspectives and insights to the healthcare staffing industry. Most recently, Janet orchestrated the spinoff of Supplemental Health Care's RPO division into a company called Clinical Magnet.
Travis Furlow, president of Clinical Magnet, was recognized for his 20-years of experience in the RPO sector and his vision for solving healthcare staffing issues. As the leader of Clinical Magnet, he is responsible for client development, operational delivery and P&L management, as well as for creating and maintaining a positive work environment. His success in growing RPO division of Supplemental Health Care resulted in the company spinning off the division into a new company called Clinical Magnet. Travis has been recognized by his colleagues for his client relationship management skills and is seen as a trusted advisor and coach.
"Janet and Travis truly are superstars in our industry, and this recognition is well deserved," said Laura Magner, chief operating officer for Supplemental Health Care. "They are leaders in the healthcare workforce solutions industry, and are applying the most advanced human resource and recruitment methods to find the right talent in the right location to meet our clients' needs."
Supplemental Health Care is one of the nation's premier healthcare-staffing agencies with more than 475 employees and 60 offices in the U.S., including four travel divisions, Locum Tenens, Managed Services, PRN Pool Management and Contingent Staffing. Each year, the company places over 8,000 physicians, nurses, therapists and other healthcare practitioners in jobs across the country.
Clinical Magnet was established in November 2015, as the industry's only workforce planning provider exclusively focused on the clinical hiring needs of healthcare organizations. At the heart of Clinical Magnet is a technology platform that allows hiring executives to engage and interact with 3.5 million clinical staffing prospects who are increasingly mobile, socially connected and more discerning about job choices in a high-demand labor market.
