Vivint Wins Stevie Awards

More than 211,000 online votes were cast in the worldwide public vote, which was conducted as part of the seventh annual Stevie Awards for sales and customer service.

Vivint also received a Silver Stevie Award for customer service department of the year. In addition, Tim Izatt, director of customer services at Vivint, was honored with a Silver Stevie Award for contact center leader of the year.

“It’s validating to receive recognition from the people who interact with us every day,” said Steve Dixon, vice president of customer experience and operations at Vivint. “Our customers come first in every aspect of our company, and we’re delighted to see our efforts do not go unnoticed.”

More than 1,100 entries from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted to this year’s competition, an increase of 10 percent over 2012. Finalists were determined by the average scores of 120 professionals worldwide, acting as preliminary judges. More than 100 members of eight specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award placements from among the finalists during final judging this year.

The awards were presented to honorees during a gala banquet on February 25 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. More than 300 nominated customer service and sales executives from the U.S.A. and several other countries attended.
